We chose to work in this industry because Our family had been involved in the plastering industry for many years.
Years in Business
We are Oceanside Plastering, Oside Plastering for short, as some of our clients would call us. We take great pride in our experience, expertise, quality, and customer service to meet consumers’ needs. We have over 50+ years of experience in the lath and plaster industry. We are a family-owned and operated business transiting its third generation now with Javier Mendoza from the Mendoza family leading it. Our mission is to provide excellent craft and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. To understand our customers’ needs and expectations, we take great care to work and professionally communicate with every customer. Our reputation is based on service, safety, and quality, regardless of how large or small the job. We are proud to announce we have been certified and fully licensed to install scaffold. It is necessary to perform our stucco installations under our C-35 license as an aggregate. For us a significant achievement to provide our clients with even more quality on the services we offer.
Over the Years
A young Javier Mendoza takes his first steps in the plastering industry working for a large company, guided by his uncles who also worked there, where he was learning the trade.
RECOGNITION OF GOOD WORK.
After having worked for the company for more than two years having excellent performance, he caught the eye of other companies, one, in particular, was very interested in his services, so they offered him a fair contract.
THE DOORS TO THE RESIDENCES ARE OPENED.
After 13 years working for the same company where mainly the jobs were commercial. Javier had perfected his craft so that he already felt capable and anxious to do residential jobs. One day his brother invited him to work with him in those types of jobs, making him want to have his own business.
WEEKEND SIDE JOBS
The first private jobs began; for them, Javier decided to get a business license, which allowed him to take his first steps towards becoming his company.
After several years of working in various companies and doing side jobs on weekends, Javier acquired more contacts, which led to more and more clients with bigger and bigger jobs. It gave him the impetus to study and obtain his contractor’s license and from that moment on to consolidate his own company definitively.
PEOPLE ARE BEGINNING TO ADD.
Oceanside Plastering is beginning to consolidate and is now able to start adding people to its work team and professionals with a lot of experience.
Javier makes his son, Edwin Mendoza, his right-hand man. Edwin had been working for a long time and learning the trade. At the same time, he is preparing to run the company that his father founded in the future.
The company’s transfer to a corporation is imminent, with Oceanside Plastering continues to grow day by day. Future projections are promising. Change is necessary.
